Pannala Gedara Yukthi Prabudika Navaratne AKA Yuki Navaratne was born on 12 May 1990, known professionally as YukiBeatz, is a Sri Lankan music producer, singer, and well-known artist. His works are noted for integrating HipHop/RnB/Trap with electronic music, world music, and modern musical arrangements.

Born and bred amidst the lush hills of Kandy, Sri Lanka, Yuki Navaratne emerged as a prodigious talent in the traditional Kandyan dance scene while at St. Silvester College. Surrounded by the love of his parents and elder brother, Yuki' s artistic journey was nurtured from an early age.

After completing high school, Yuki felt the magnetic pull of Colombo's busy streets, where he embarked on his musical journey. Today, he flourishes in the heart of Colombo, living with his beloved wife and five cherished canine companions. Here, he crafts electrifying soundscapes that resonate far beyond borders and continue to be a genuine trailblazer.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Yuki Navaratne has consistently achieved remarkable success on Spotify, being recognized as the top local artist in Sri Lanka for three consecutive years 2022, 2023, and 2024. In 2022, he amassed 5.2 million streams, 277.8K listeners, and reached audiences in 147 countries, establishing himself as a standout artist with widely popular tracks. His dominance continued in 2023, as highlighted in Spotify ' s official playlist, further cementing his influence in the music scene. By 2024, Yuki' s impact grew even further, achieving 9.3 million streams, 398K listeners, and 460K hours of listening across 161 countries, reflecting his expanding global reach.

TEACHING CAREER

Yuki currently works as a Music Production Visiting Lecturer at Sri Lanka's largest audio engineering education institute, Pearlbay Institute, where he mentors a group of 48 students. His expertise spans from fundamentals to advanced electronic music production. He delivers lectures and facilitates discussions on music production with FL Studio, and Yuki prepares course materials, assesses student progress, and provides academic guidance to support and enhance their learning journey.
